This 6,000 sq./ft. summer cottage was built on two adjoining beach front lots in Wrightsville Beach, NC.
Customized entirely to suit the needs and taste of the family, the house features top-of-the-line amenities, including a gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops, custom wallpaper embedded with sand and shells, seven bedrooms (two reserved for guests), a private children's lounge area, elevator, and two laundry rooms. The top floor of this four story home is completely dedicated to the master bedroom suite, including a private sitting area, fireplace, steam shower and private deck.
Decks throughout the house take advantage of both the views of the ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. The house's many windows take advantage of both the spectacular views as well as the ocean breezes.
The small, personal touches incorporated into the construction make this home a special, personal space, including a fireplace mantle designed to display a favorite family piece, and picture frames built into the chair rail in the powder room to hold photos of their children and days at the beach. We are honored by family's special request that the compass rose from the Maritime Homes logo be duplicated in wood and inset into the foyer floor.
